- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 can strained fruit pie filling (or1 1/2 cup fresh fruit)
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix the milk, sugar, flour and butter blending well.
- Line bottom of 13x9 baking pan with fruit. (no need to grease or flour prep pan first)
- Pour mixed batter over the top.
- Bake until batter is springy like a cake. (about 15-20 minutes) and serve warm with French Vanilla Ice Cream.
